Thanksgiving

We hosted- 22 people in our New York apartment - carumba! - but it was super team spirit and everything turned out beautifully. Heritage Farm Turkeys are the yummiest I’ve ever tasted; thank you Park Slope Food Coop.

Jamming with the Kids

Ethan and the Orchestra were invited to travel to Dryden Central School to create a new song with the students and share with them their method of making music. I tagged along with my camera and am so glad I did. It was an awesome experience.

J.T.+Frank

It really is such a treat for me to be in the middle of people’s wonderful families at such intimate moments, such as a wedding. JT and Frank’s wedding really was such a super treat.

Halloween

Ethan had a show at Rockwood (they wore cat ears and tails) and I had to walk through the village to get there. Wow.

Anna’s Engagement

I shot a super fun engagement party this weekend.

It was at a swanky private club across the street from the plaza.
Mega thanks to Sara sending Eleanore my way.

They married in a beautiful tiny wedding on Cape Cod and then had a second wedding party in town for all their city friends. What a great idea!

Collodion Process with Jill Enfield

This September, I attended the Maine Workshops for the first time + I learned how to take pictures with the wet plate method.

It was AWESOME!  Jill was a great teacher.  Her method was/is super organic; it feels almost like a stumbling through, but I found it a really effective means of communicating such a volume of info & technique is such a small amount of time (a week).

I’m certainly no pro, but I definitely got the bug and can’t wait to do more.
